"We have a small wooded area and creek behind our house which in recent years has become a little haven for a family of deer who ventures down from the mountains above us looking for food and water. In September, Teri found a baby deer calling for its mother, so I am beginning to think that this may be their new home. We don't notice them so much in the summer hidden amongst the trees, but in the bleak snow of winter, they come right up close to the house and pose as if they long to be in a lovely Christmas Card.
