** UPDATE - we only have 1 kit left - does it have YOUR name on it? **
We are very excited to introduce our 2025 Stitch-a-Long (SAL), The Sampler book of Embroidery Stitches. Designed by Amy McClellan from Under the Green Moon.
Stitch has secured the LAST 60 kits, so if you love this project, don't delay, when they are gone, they are really gone!
We do love a book at Stitch but books that are made from stitches are our favourite type of book. Why? This is not another project that requires expensive framing and hanging on your limited wall space & it is not another needlecase/pincushion/cushion, but a useful and beautiful, tactile piece of embroidery to treasure, to use and to hand down to the next generation.
We will spread the 12 components of the book into 10 mail outs from early February to November, of course if you live close enough you can choose to come in and collect your monthly pack otherwise we can post them to you.
** If you live overseas, please contact us for a quote to post to your country.
And how much will this gorgeous heirloom and hours of fun cost? Just $40 per month over 10 months as per the below payment schedule.
Deposit $250 to secure your spot
Balance $150 due late January prior to the first month's release
Postage if required or you can collect from Stitch
This sampler book of hand embroidery stitches is an excellent way for you to learn and perfect your hand stitching skills. The pages will be assembled at the end of the year in book form. It is a darling book for you to display but also will be a great reference book when you are going to stitch another project and need to find the perfect stitch.
We promise that you are going to LOVE・❤・stitching this book!
We have added a ton of photos below but you can also watch this video to get a better look at the book! Amy's original book is at Stitch, so please pop in to have a close and personal look and hold too!
The pages come preprinted on linen so you will know exactly where to stitch. You will also receive a password to access video instructions for the pages and stitches you will be working on that month. Each month you will receive a package with everything you will need to complete that month’s assignment.
That means each month you will get:
1 section of pre-printed linen
Interfacing
Written instructions
Link for video instructions
A thread card with threads required for the month's page/s
Throughout the year, you will also get:
Assorted needles
The woven fabric to complete the book

The kit comes complete with the threads and colours as shown. Unfortunately, we are not able to change the components but of course, you are quite welcome to make changes to your threads and colours from your own stash of threads.
