Simply stunning, this sumptious pincushion is a feast for the eyes. The design features animals from the forest, a bunny, squirrel, blue bird, ladybird and bee. All nestled amongst the toadstools, fernery and pretty flowering plants. With such great step by step directions, you will be able to applique your felted wool animals onto the background colour of your choice, the embroidery stitches are straight forward and the result amazing - too good for pins!
Your kit contains;
- fantastic instructions with patterns
- Freezer paper
- either green or blue silk fabric for the top of your pincushion
- coordinating fabric for the base of your pincushion (the fabric may vary from the photo but it is all lovely)
- felted wool for the applique
- 2 x red buttons
- threads - a good selection of threads including Eco Vita wool, DMC Stranded cotton, DMC perle 8 cotton, Sue Spargo variegted Perle 8 cotton
- interfacing
- plain cotton fabric for the inner cushion
You will need to provide;
- needles but the instructions outline exactly which needles and when to use them
- ricrac - optional decoration for the seam of your pincushion
- stuffing
